Welcome! I am so glad you're here. I'm Ashley Anderson, the heart behind Brown Crown Way Worm Farm. 

What began as an interest in gardening quickly became something much bigger. The more time I spent with worms to support soil health, the more they transformed the way I see the world. Caring for worms taught me to slow down, observe closely, and appreciate some of nature's most important work which happens beneath the surface. 

Every day in Brown Crown Way Worm Farm brings something new. 

A fresh cocoon tucked into the bedding. Tiny hatchlings emerging. A population boom after weeks of patient care. Changes in moisture, microbial activity, and bedding that tell a story if you’re willing to pay attention. There is never a dull moment, and every small discovery reminds me that healthy ecosystems are built through consistency, curiosity, and care.

Brown Crown Way Worm Farm was created to share that wonderful experience with others.

I believe vermiculture is more than composting. It’s an opportunity to understand how living systems work together. Worms don’t simply break down food scraps—they partner with microorganisms to transform organic matter into nutrient-rich castings that support healthier soil. Watching that process unfold has given me a deeper appreciation for the relationships that sustain life, often in ways we never see.
